Description
Toolsa ⌀250 mm warm-air ducting set — 10 m flexible duct and hose clamp for the TA-DV20 and TA-DV30
Our flexible ducting, 250 mm in diameter and 10 m long, comes with a hose clamp, so it can be fitted to the heater straight away. We put the set together for two indirect diesel heaters in the series: the 20 kW TA-DV20 and the 30 kW TA-DV30. The duct takes warm air from the heater outlet and releases it only where the heat is needed.
Two parts in one set
The set contains the 250 mm × 10 m duct and one hose clamp. The clamp secures the end of the duct on the heater's warm-air outlet spigot, so the duct stays put while the heater runs and when it is moved. The clamp is matched to the duct it comes with, so there is no separate fixing to look for.
Wire spiral
The duct is built on a wire spiral, which lets you run it in a curve — around a column, through a doorway or along a wall — rather than only in a straight line. Gentle curves work best: a sharp kink restricts the flow, and less heat reaches the far end.
Which heaters it fits
We make the 250 mm duct for the TA-DV20 heater (20 kW, 1.9 l/h, 38 l tank, up to 320 m³) and the TA-DV30 (30 kW, 2.9 l/h, 50 l tank, up to 480 m³). The TA-DV50, the most powerful heater in the series, takes the 300 mm ducting set, which also includes a clamp.
Warm air, not exhaust
Flexible ducting goes on the warm-air outlet only. Exhaust from TA-DV heaters leaves through a separate spigot into a 110 mm flue built from a flue pipe, a 114 mm 90° elbow and a rain cap. The heater's manual shows which spigot is which.
Heat where the work is
With 10 m of ducting the heater can stand by the hall door or outside a marquee, while warm air reaches work positions deeper inside or a wall that needs drying. Other parts, including every flue component, are under heater accessories.
