Description

Toolsa ⌀114 mm 90° flue elbow — turning the flue on TA-DV heaters

Our flue elbow turns the flue run through 90°. It is 114 mm in diameter and belongs to the flue set for the TA-DV20, TA-DV30 and TA-DV50 indirect diesel heaters. With it, the flue does not have to run in one straight line from the heater's outlet: it turns wherever the layout of the site calls for it.

When you need an elbow

An indirect heater sends its exhaust out of the heated space, and the route from its outlet to the outside is rarely straight. A 90° elbow takes the flue from a horizontal run to a vertical one, or the other way round, and lets it clear obstacles along the way.

Part of the flue set

The elbow works together with the 110 mm × 1 m flue pipe and the 110 mm flue rain cap. The pipe carries the exhaust, the elbow changes its direction, and the rain cap closes the flue outdoors and keeps rain and snow out.

Fits the whole TA-DV series

The same elbow fits the TA-DV20 heater, rated at 20 kW and burning 1.9 l/h, the 30 kW TA-DV30 and the 50 kW TA-DV50 heater. Switch to another model in the series and the flue parts stay the same.

No flue on direct heaters

The TA-D175 (51 kW) and TA-D215 (63 kW) run without a flue, so a flue elbow has no place on them. The flue, and the elbow with it, belongs only on the indirect TA-DV series.

Put the flue together

A TA-DV flue consists of a pipe, an elbow and a rain cap, and each part fits all three models in the series. Flexible ducting for distributing warm air, and the clamps that hold it, are under heater accessories.

Questions and answers

What does a 90° flue elbow do on a diesel heater?

A 90° flue elbow is the part of a flue that turns the exhaust path through a right angle, for example from horizontal to vertical. Our 114 mm elbow fits the Toolsa TA-DV20, TA-DV30 and TA-DV50 indirect diesel heaters. It lets you route the flue from the heater's exhaust outlet around obstacles and take the exhaust out of the heated space.

Can a flue be fitted to the Toolsa TA-D175 or TA-D215?

The Toolsa TA-D175 (51 kW) and TA-D215 (63 kW) are direct heaters that run without a flue, so no flue is connected to them. The 114 mm 90° flue elbow, the 110 mm flue pipe and the 110 mm rain cap are made only for the indirect TA-DV series. If the exhaust has to go outside and only clean warm air should enter the space, choose the TA-DV20, TA-DV30 or TA-DV50.

How large a space can a flued Toolsa heater heat?

The Toolsa indirect diesel heaters that take the 114 mm 90° flue elbow heat volumes from 320 to 800 m³. The 20 kW TA-DV20 covers up to 320 m³, the 30 kW TA-DV30 up to 480 m³ and the 50 kW TA-DV50 up to 800 m³. All three send their exhaust out through the flue and let only clean warm air into the heated space.

Which flue parts does the Toolsa 114 mm elbow work with?

The Toolsa 90° flue elbow, 114 mm in diameter, belongs to the same flue set as the 110 mm flue pipe, 1 m long, and the 110 mm rain cap. All three parts are made for the TA-DV series: the TA-DV20, TA-DV30 and TA-DV50. The pipe carries the exhaust in a straight line, the elbow changes its direction by 90°, and the rain cap finishes the flue outdoors and protects the outlet from rain and snow.
