What concrete is the Toolsa Soff Cut 6" TASC6R-KIT set for?
The TASC6R-KIT set contains the red TASC6R blade and a Soff Cut 6" skid plate. The blade is designed for early-entry joint cutting in fresh, soft concrete, up to about 1 day after pouring, when the mix contains hard and medium-hard aggregate, such as granite and sand of moderate abrasiveness. The blade has 12 segments, 9.2 mm high and 2.4 mm thick, a 6" (about 150 mm) diameter and the triangular Soff Cut arbor hole. It lets you cut the slab before the concrete sets and starts to crack in an uncontrolled way. In terms of aggregate selection, it matches the XL6 3000 class in the Soff-Cut application table.

How to choose a set for your aggregate
The aggregate in the mix decides which blade to use, not the concrete itself. The mix specification or the concrete plant tells you the aggregate type. For hard and medium-hard aggregate choose the TASC6R-KIT set (red blade). For very hard and hard aggregate choose the TASC6G-KIT set (green blade). The blade colours mean the same as on Husqvarna Soff-Cut blades, so the selection works the same way as in the system this blade fits.
What not to use this set for
Toolsa Soff Cut 6" blades cut fresh, soft concrete, up to about 1 day after pouring. They are not designed for cured concrete or for concrete with soft and very soft aggregate.
