Toolsa Complete Fresno Broom – one tool for smoothing and broom finishing
The Toolsa Fresno Broom is a texturing float we build for exterior concrete: a manganese steel blade 127 mm wide with a concrete brush on an aluminium bracket, available in 915 mm and 1220 mm. The kit is complete: three aluminium poles Ø45 mm × 1830 mm and an angle-adjustable bracket are included, so the tool is ready to work with a reach of about 5.5 m.
Push to smooth, pull to texture
The worm-gear bracket tilts the blade during the stroke. Pushing lifts the leading edge and the steel edge presses the aggregate down and closes the surface. Pulling drops the blade and the brush scores grooves 1–3 mm deep that cure into a slip-resistant finish. Two finishing steps in one pass, without stepping onto the slab.
Why manganese steel
A steel blade stays stiff on a 5.5 m pole and keeps a straight edge on aggregate for years, where an aluminium blade would flex and wear. Weight is kept low where it matters: the brush bracket and the poles are aluminium. The bristles are replaceable, so the brush is serviced, not replaced.
Choose your width
Take 915 mm for single-lane driveways, footpaths, steps and rooms with many corners. Take 1220 mm for wide driveways, patios and slabs, where every pass closes a strip a quarter wider. Poles and bracket are the same in both versions and fit every Toolsa float blade, so one set of poles serves the whole range.
