Wacker Neuson DPU 2540 H reversible compactor - how to compact a paving stone base?
The Wacker Neuson compactor is also suitable for compacting paving stones on sidewalks, driveways or parking lots. When you plan to use the compactor for these tasks you will need an elastomer. It is an optional accessory for the compactor. It has been factory-adapted for easy and quick installation and removal.
The elastomer is a rubber pad for the bottom plate. It is indispensable for sensitive or delicate substrates. Paving blocks require special attention. Elastomer allows us to compact it without creating damage. The overlay protects against scratches, cracks and many other mechanical damages. Once our compactor is armed with the necessary accessories, it is possible to start compacting the pavers.
