How does the Wacker Neuson DPS 1850 H single-direction compactor perform on asphalt?
The DPS 1850 H unidirectional compactor is almost made for asphalt compaction work. It was pre-treated at the factory to perform best on sticky, heavy terrain. The specially designed tank and surface wetting system have been developed to make operation and service as smooth as possible without creating problems.
Why is the sprinkler system so important?
Because it is what enables us to compact the asphalt. When the asphalt is continuously moistened, then it does not stick to the bottom plate of the compactor. Smooth and pleasant work ensures a great end result. The second key component is the water tank, directly connected to the humidification system. The tank has a capacity of 11.2 liters. Thanks to its sizable capacity, there is no need to stop work every now and then to refill it. This significantly increases the comfort of work and its final result.
Also contributing to the success is the workman's plate, which, thanks to its size, is able to do the job and compact the asphalt very precisely in hard-to-reach areas, such as areas near curbs or at gradients.
