What exactly is a gas heater?

In short, we can put it as a portable gas-powered heating device. What kind of gas exactly? We can use a cylinder filled with propane or propane-butane for this. However, we recommend using the former, because pure propane itself has the best heating properties - high calorific combustion.

When choosing a cylinder, pay attention to its size - it is recommended to match it to the power of the heater in the ratio: 1 kg of gas / 1 kW of heating power. Proper selection of the tank will prevent the effect of frosting of the cylinder and freezing of the reducer. What is the Master BLP 17 M gas heater like? - characteristics

The standard power of the device is 16 kW, you also have the ability to adjust, and the maximum air flow is 300 m³/h. The casing was made of a special insulating material that does not heat up, and the safety of the motor is monitored by a thermostat with an overheat sensor. To emphasize the portability of the device, an ergonomic handle was built in. Also included with the heater is a gas pressure regulator and gas line. The BLP 17 M (16 kW) gas heater should be connected to a 16 kg cylinder, preferably filled with propane. MASTER provides a one-year warranty on its equipment, extendable to 3 years, and component service.

During low temperatures in autumn or winter, you can successfully support yourself with a gas heater. For example, you heat ceilings, floors and other structural elements. However, it is worth remembering that gas heaters emit a lot of water vapor, which can settle on the walls. If, therefore, we do not need to humidify the room (staying, for example, in a greenhouse) we must take care of good ventilation of the interior.

How to connect the gas heater?

First, you screw the gas line to the heater, and then install the regulator on the gas cylinder.
In the next step, you connect the gas line to the reducer and unscrew the cylinder valve.
Press the release button on the reducer and connect the machine to the power source.
Move the switch to the I position, press the gas button as far as it will go and hold it down, and press the piezo igniter button several times as far as it will go.
When the flame ignites, keep the gas button pressed for about 15 seconds.

With the knob on the regulator, you can conveniently adjust the heating output.
