It is perfect for compacting granular soil, which includes sand, gravel and silt. With its help you will also harden paving stones and heated asphalt. We recommend using this model for work on bike paths, sidewalks and driveways, as well as roadway repairs. The powerful HONDA GX120 engine and high quality workmanship make this a very solid device that can serve for many years.
HUSQVARNA LF60 HONDA LAT unidirectional compactor - characteristics.
- HONDA GX120 four-stroke engine is the most powerful and economical device in its class. It runs on unleaded 95 or 98 oct. gasoline, which are available at any gas station.
- The compactor has a built-in 13-liter corrosion-resistant water container. The wide filler allows efficient refilling without slowing down operation. Water is drained under the bottom plate in a smart way and is not wasted. These features make the soil compactor ideal for curing hot asphalt.
- The unit's mobility is enhanced by the included sturdy rubber wheels.
- The unit is also equipped with sturdy handles with which it can be carried by crane. The handles can be quickly detached from the machine, making it easy to transport and store.
- The handles, with which the compactor is guided, are patented and significantly reduce the vibrations felt by the operator.
- The working plate is made of a material that does not stick to hot asphalt.
- The plate has rounded corners, so the compactor does not leave visible marks after its work.

What is the elastomeric plate useful for?
The work of a soil compactor involves the transmission of vibrations generated by the motor through the working plate. The plate hits the surface with a very high force, so when you want to work with paving stones, an elastomeric mat should be attached to the plate. It is made of polyurethane. Transmitted vibrations effectively harden the paving, but require protection of the substrate from damage. Flexible and soft polyurethane protects the paving from scratching, chipping and breaking.
