OUR STORY
2001 - 2005
In May 2001, Remigiusz Prędki founded the company Norwit, renting a single office in the FABUD office building in Siemianowice Śląskie. By purchasing a car, he began the distribution of diamond blades, marking the beginning of our history. In the fall, the first employee joined the company, and the business started to grow dynamically.
In 2002, Remigiusz Prędki felt the wind in his sails. Norwit increased its workforce by hiring two additional sales representatives and purchased more vehicles to expand its satisfied customer base. We began working with major players in the Polish market: Honda, Bomag, Hatz, and Von Arx.
In 2003, Norwit changed its location, remaining in Siemianowice Śląskie. The company rented a 200 m² building exclusively for itself and expanded its operations to include construction machinery servicing. We gained new employees and established partnerships with additional major suppliers.
In 2004, Remigiusz began negotiations with the Italian brand Barikell regarding representation in Poland. The company rented another building for storage, as well as acquired the domain www.norwit.pl and created its first website.
2005 was a breakthrough year for Norwit. We purchased the buildings we had previously rented as our own property and introduced the Barikell brand to Poland, becoming its exclusive distributor. This was a key step in the development of our company.
2007 - 2013
2007 was a milestone year for Norwit. We transitioned to full accounting and hired new sales representatives divided by regions, covering all of Poland. We surpassed 5 million złoty turnover, solidifying our position in the market.
2008 marked the beginning of the global economic crisis, which slowed down the development of all sectors of the economy. Despite this, Norwit continued its growth. While the pace was slower, the company persistently moved forward.
2011 saw Norwit continue its dynamic growth, prompting us to expand our existing warehouse by adding an additional floor due to space constraints. By mid-year, our representative began operations in Piaseczno near Warsaw, expanding our presence in central Poland.
2013 was a year when Norwit strengthened its position in the construction machinery market. During this year, the company launched its Facebook page, enhancing its presence on social media and further connecting with customers.
2018 - 2023
2018 was the year Norwit surpassed 10 million PLN turnover and began searching for a new headquarters as the current one in Siemianowice Śląskie had become too small. The company also hired a new specialist to build an online store. From this point on, a new era began for Norwit, taking us to a completely new level.
2019 saw Remigiusz purchase a 1200 m² hall in Chorzów in the spring and commence its extensive renovation. In December, the company relocated to a new location, featuring a large showroom for machinery and a high-storage warehouse. Norwit also transformed into a limited liability company, marking a new chapter in its history.
2020 posed numerous challenges for Norwit in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Disrupted supply chains and uncertainty about the future necessitated quick adaptation to new conditions. Remigiusz focused all efforts on expanding the online store, which had been established the previous year. As a result, our online shop experienced a boom, enabling the company to weather difficult times and continue its growth.
2021 marked another significant change for Norwit, replacing the old inventory-accounting software with a modern ERP system. This allowed us to further spread our wings, despite the challenges of the year. We surpassed 22 million PLN turnover, confirming that we are on the right path and our company continues to grow.
2022 has been a year of continued dynamic growth for Norwit, with the hiring of additional specialists to meet the growing demand online. Our company now employs 16 people. We are proud to have become the number one Dealer for Wacker Neuson products in Poland and among the top sellers of Master Heaters. This represents another step forward in our history of success.
2023 was a year when Norwit faced another crisis, this time due to war in our neighboring countries. Through our unwavering commitment to growth, Remigiusz introduced new products to our offerings, allowing Norwit to reach new market segments. Despite the challenges, we continued to grow and develop our e-commerce division.
We doubled the sales of Wacker Neuson products compared to 2022, once again becoming the top dealer for this brand. Norwit continues to climb, strengthening its position in the market.
2024
2024 was another significant success year for Norwit, receiving the prestigious Gazelle of Business award. This great honor is a testament to our continuous commitment to development and the dedication of our entire team. Despite the challenges of recent years, our company continues to grow dynamically, conquering new markets and strengthening its position in the construction machinery industry.
In June 2024 roku, Norwit achieved another important milestone, launching a new online store Toolsa.eu, aimed at the entire Europe. Thanks to this expansion, our company not only strengthens its position in the domestic market, but also enters the international arena, offering its products to customers from various corners of the continent. This is an exciting stage in our history, opening up new possibilities and challenges.
